Why did I get a DLC campaign / boss in the base game?
So I thought that in order to play DLC campaign "Dark Horizon", you'd have to start it from the Ward 13 by choosing the DLC in the Adventure mode. However I have not touched that mode and I was just playing the main campaign. I entered N'Erud world through the Labyrinth, however I got the DLC boss at the end of it and unlocked the achievement that says I beat The Dark Horizon DLC. How on Earth did that even happen? Is this a feature or a bug?

If you began your campaign run on the current patch then yes it is normal. It has to do with the way the worlds are being generated in this game, there are a set amount of dungeons within a map and those are being rolled randomly every new campaign or adventure mode, with the exception being the One Shot Adventures.

On Shot Adventures are curated and you can play them one time upon purchasing the DLC. You will have all the new content in the One Shot Adventures, whereas in future Adventure Runs all the dungeons are randomized again.

Thank you for the explanation. I didn't think they would merge the DLC bosses with the base game boss roster.
When you roll campaign / adventure w/o DLC, there is a chance that DLC worlds spawn. Yes I do hate that DLC worlds spawn when I roll normal adventure, but that's how it is.

Unfortunately they will, and no way to prevent that. For example, even in a base game storyline (EX: Tal'Ratha or Sha'hala), you might get DLC mini bosses in the mandatory dungeons (EX: Nerudian Reaper / Amalgam), and you might get DLC side dungeons (EX: stagnant factory, Logistic bridge, etc.).
And the base game contents do get mixed into DLC storylines in the same way. And that is EXACTLY how you get some rewards newly added in the DLC. You will find out.

The DLCs for Remnant 2 don't work like typical DLCs.

They're not linear self-contained episodes that you play through after beating the campaign. They're like a bag of new 'parts' the game can draw from whenever it generates a level. When you roll a campaign or adventure you may get parts from the base game, or you may get parts from any DLCs you've purchased.

All World Stories (including those in the DLC) are all self contained. There are reoccurring characters in some of them but there isn't a "correct" order to them. You can, and are expected to, play through them in a random order.
