On Shot Adventures are curated and you can play them one time upon purchasing the DLC. You will have all the new content in the One Shot Adventures, whereas in future Adventure Runs all the dungeons are randomized again.
Thank you for the explanation. I didn't think they would merge the DLC bosses with the base game boss roster.
And the base game contents do get mixed into DLC storylines in the same way. And that is EXACTLY how you get some rewards newly added in the DLC. You will find out.
They're not linear self-contained episodes that you play through after beating the campaign. They're like a bag of new 'parts' the game can draw from whenever it generates a level. When you roll a campaign or adventure you may get parts from the base game, or you may get parts from any DLCs you've purchased.
All World Stories (including those in the DLC) are all self contained. There are reoccurring characters in some of them but there isn't a "correct" order to them. You can, and are expected to, play through them in a random order.
