Is it better for me to start playing the first game first or is it fine if I just go straight for the second game?
I always recommend to play Remnant from the Ashes in addition to Remnant 2 and considering that Remnant 2 is the evolution of Remnant from the Ashes, you'll probably find yourself more at ease playing first the first game and then move onto Remnant 2.
Another consideration is, especially since you might go for the ultimate bundle, to first check remnant 2 ( how it performs on your pc ). The reason is that Remnant 2 lacks optimization and its performance may vary from build to build, and it's not granted that a good desktop would grant you the performances you expect ( for example, my brothers plays with a laptop and a 2070 super, and the game has better performances than my desktop build with a 3080. both 1080p )
To sum up:
- both are good games, and I'd start with the Remnant from the Ashes first ( and its 2 dlc )
- If you buy the bundle, also install remnant 2 and see how it goes on your pc ( eventually if you can't play because low fps, consider a refund ).
