Meaning if you screwed one of your relic combos you can restore a previous save where the mistake didn't happen. Or if you fed the relics, and in the prism roll none of the relics you fed to it appeared you can restore the save (the relic choices will be the same) but if you feed to it yet another relic b4 revealing the choices, you will get a new batch of 3 choices.
Hopefully I didn't sound too confusing.
If you are getting only 2 options - means you leveled 3 fragments already and either no fusions are available or the fragments that allow fusions are still below +5 (which is the minimal value for fusion to appear if I recall right).
you've chosen for your prism.
You can see a list of all possible fusion here :
https://remnant2.wiki.fextralife.com/Prisms
Once you've chosen your 4 fusions, feed the prisme with the 8 related fragments.
Then your goal is to try and get the fragments for two fusions in your 5 first level.
Then you raise everything to lvl 5.
Then even if you have both fusion stats at +5, fusion is the ONLY option that doesn't have an improved chance of appearing, since the regular fragment are still boosted by the previous feed,
So you have to narrow down the possible options to increase the chances of seeing the fusion.
That's why, once your stats are +5, you should try to raise only one or two to +10 if you don't see any fusion in the meantime.
This will increase your chances of seeing the fusion without wasting too many levels.
Personally, I usually start to up the only state that can't fusion yet,
Once you have your first fusion, you aim for the state you need for your 3rd.
Then same for the fourth.
Then you feed your prism with the last stat you're interested in, the only one you can't fusion.
You can feed 2,3 that you like to reduce the chances of being troll on the very end of your prism.
I wouldnt be suprised if you can miss fusions alltogether, it didnt happen to me yet but I lost like 2 hours to upgrading fragments that I will combine later so it did nothing.
you can't miss a fusion if the requisite fragments are present, they are guaranteed. But you can easily have a prism w/o any matching fragments.
Can anyone explain? Examples are good too.
