And although some games do have the option to use both together- it will mostlikely not run any better and can even have negative impact on fps.
So yeah ... everyone who needed framegeneration to play the game is now left with ... the messy fsr + fg to play the game.
Guess im gonna play the game in 2 years when i got my new pc XD
Perhaps it can be salvaged by updating the DLL file to the latest FSR 3.1.2 that's on AMD's website, but we shall see.
Nah, it should work for anyone since FSR is hardware agnostic.
Before swapping the files, I'd recommend making a copy of the one that's found in the Remnant II files. (In case something goes wrong when playing extensively.) You can find the file by going:
"SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Remnant2\Remnant2\Binaries\Win64"
After downloading the FidelityFX SDK v1.1.2 zip from either AMD GPUOpen or GitHub, you'll find the FSR 3.1.2 DLL file (both DX12 and Vulkan) within the PrebuiltSignedDLL folder. From there, copy-and-paste the DLL file and replace the one from the Win64 folder.
But yeah, swapping the new one sadly doesn't salvage the train wreck that the devs created. Since they're in a patching mood, let's hope that they fix it sooner rather than later.
Ironically, I noticed that as well before uninstalling the game, lol. Honestly, I'm wondering how this patch even passed QA...
