If you're really struggling, I would recommend creating a medic character, and maybe starting on a different world, as I feel like some worlds are just straight up more difficult than others. other then that, just try to improve and don't be greedy with damage, surviving is usually more important early on.
It's a souls game and it's okay to go down time to time as long as You learn and adapt to the AI varieties and attack patterns
As hunter You're supposed to keep distance , run away if You have to and deal with the enemies in long range , You have a weak armor by default but You're quick and have more frames to evade
You can use the healing shot mod on one of your weapons for healing but If you really want to rely on healing get the medic class as your second archetype as soon as possible , there are other sources of regen in form of gear and perks but that's a lot to uncover
You can playthrough the entire game solo and it's not required to have team mates , unless You want to get some specific perks and items , there are some co op only puzzles but their rewards are also gears that benefits in groupe
First what is the boss that you are facing ,
Second there is npc in the hub that sell you a root like item that heal overtime ( it's the doctor from the video at the beginning )
Third if needed you can go see in the inventory of all the merchant they sell an expansive item that cost around 1000 that unlock a new class ( you can equip 2 at the same time )
I don't think it was even a boss. The world has little floating orb space shippy things that dodge and then green ghosts that charge me. I didn't really make it past that.
I restarted as handler and it's much much easier. The zone changed and was also tons easier. Big floating angels are easy to his compared to little orbs that dodge.
Probably gonna stick with the handler until I get good.
so the world you got on your first playthrough was Ne'reud (not sure on the spelling tbh), which is in my opinion, the single hardest world in the game as far as basic enemies go.
later on you'll have lots of options for healing, but starting out you have very limited options.
I agree that that particular world is one of the harder ones, but Its also one of my favorites.
Buy the 1500 item from ? Cass ? the doctor/medic to unlock medic the heal is very strong and let me not worry too much while learning areas.
