Trait point cap.
I was really hoping for at least a clean 10 point addition so I could incorporate some of the new traits into my builds. I'm sure I'm not the only one with builds that don't really have much wiggle room to move points around. Pretty disappointed that we're still at 85, especially after all the nerfs.

You can't pay for fun anymore. You just have to deal with it.

Not a fan of the cap either, the books were always nice to pick up in the first game but now they're as boring as re-finding a ring.

at least make it a solid 100

To be fair, they merged some of the traits and replaced them with new ones. Wayfarer (+parkour speed) merged into Swiftness (+movement speed), and Resonance (+aura size) merged into Amplitude (+AoE size). Cleaning up that level of granularity helps get rid of niche or otherwise unattractive traits and makes space for new traits. For some builds, this really does free up some points and lets you make more rounded builds, especially in the face of the new traits that replaced them, like Chakra (+mod duration) or the Invoker's archetype trait Gifted (+skill duration).

You have to look on the bright side of these things. No, they didn't increase the trait point cap, but they did add some new traits and clean up/streamline some old traits. That has to count for something.

Would have been better if Health and Stamina were one too or just a literal Base Core Skill dumping 20 points into something that trivial is kinda unpleasant with the low cap

True. Not how I'd do it personally but at least there's no trait to climb ladders faster anymore.

Not only are Health and Stamina two very different things, but there are a not-insignificant number of builds that don't max both traits. If you combined +Health and +Stamina into a single trait, it would become one of those super-powerful mandatory traits everyone takes, effectively a build tax. They already got rid of all the flat damage traits coming from Remnant: From the Ashes because they're too easy and boring and would also be build taxes; this theoretical combined Health/Stamina perk would be the same thing.

I dream about infinite lvl like in remnant 1 :Sadclot:
This would give an incentive to go through the campaign and the dlc over and over again

I've not checked myself, but I believe there are mods that allow you to have as many trait points as you want. I saw others here mention that, but it was long ago.
