For those looking to unlock the Invoker Archetype
First you need to slay the first boss to gain access to the lever that allows you to lower the large statue in the courtyard. Then you need to descend the stairs to reach a hidden doorway that leads to a sandpit filled with arrow traps. At the other end of the room there is an armor set (the one for the Invoker), now take notice of the sandpit, there are two spots where the arrow trap is "broken". In one of these rows there is a suspicious area of sand that sparkles slightly. You need to stand still over that spot for five minutes until your character begins sinking into the sand, when you're fully submerged a loading screen will take you to a new room wherein you will find a pan flute that is the Invoker's engram. Step four: profit.

You're thinking of a different item. The Trinity Momento is in three pieces and needs three runs to complete, not the flute.

I acquired it in the one-shot adventure.

Yes, but if the water starts to flow, it will continue do so in realtime, no matter what.

Meaning: One does not have to be in game or present at the ig location. You can do whatever and come back later again.

Same goes for N'erud after secruring its safe decent into Alepsis-Taura. That one takes even 12 rl hours or something like that. xD

For the sand, one has to be present but it does not take too long at least.

this

other have-to-wait scenario usually lets you do other activities or down right cheese it with sys clock if you are too impatient like me, 5 min afk is just lame compared to that lol

I mean, I'lll say it. What a stupid way to unlock the archetype.
Someone saidthis in another post, and I was like lol when I fell for it. But he just didn't say it was the sparkly sand, ffs.
How would you find this without word of mouth? I hate that games encourage you to youtube/google everything these days.

P.S. It's the sand pile at the front (closest to the broken bolt shooters).

Since one of my friends found out the hard way, I thought I would share this tidbit for anyone who does like to mod. You have to technically "die" to get in the room, so keep that in mind.

Saying you dont have to wait 5 min you just off yourself and go under?
They should have put a hole under all that sand, once we stepped in we fall to the archtype room.

I believe they mean that if you have certain mods enabled you'll have trouble getting to the secret area, since those types of transitions technically require you to be able to die in order to move you to them even though you don't get a 'YOU DIED' message. Regardless, you need to stand in the spot for five minutes to enter the secret room.
I've afkd for more than 5 minutes in both the sand pile and the circle, but my character isnt going through. Any1 else had this bug?

Did you talk to lydusa first? The sand there is cursed(It sings Lydusas song). Without getting cursed by here so you can speak with the stones, it wont work.

It is ok do cure the curse by killing/Healing Lydusa. You will keep the part, that lets you talk to stones and get in there.
