Steam / Gamepass cross not working.
We cannot join each other's games
We got a connection error when we tray to join each other.

We both have link our Epic account.

My friend on gamepass version 398 359
and i on the latest steam version are not on the same game version.

Steam and gamepass cant play togther. At least that's what people have said in the other threads i have seen about this.

need to learn the difference between crossplay and cross-platform, 2 very different things.
Crossplay is simply stuff like steam/epic/gog etc, well other pc launchers.
Cross-platform is PC/Xbox/PS and the other platforms/consoles.


So with that said, R2 has crossplay, but not cross platform.
And since gamepass is essentially xbox then no.

Currently you can not play together with you playing on steam and someone else on xbox game pass.
You all need to be on the same platform.
