Have they removed the statue event?

I have been trying to work on the Gold and Silver Ribbons to obtain the Amulet. I have re-rolled the Losomm / Palace Courtyard a couple dozen times now. Have had the Shattered Gallery, Pathway of the Fallen and the Great Hall at least a dozen times. I have never seen the Statues Event in any of them.

When I do get one of the dungeons and then change over to the Dark World, it never has any dungeons. Just the entrance and the final boss. There are no longer any dungeons in the dark world, only the light world.

I have been using the tactic of re-rolling and running to the Jester, obtaining the feather and checking the door next to him and then going to the door after hopping on the book cases. If the dungeons appear, I go through the dungeons looking for the fairy to obtain the gold ribbon. Never any statue event.

No matter how many times I swap over to the dark world, there are never any dungeons. Just the entrance and the final boss.

The event in question can still spawn. I've seen it a few times since the DLC was released.
