LET US DO THE FLOODED ROOM RUN MORE THAN ONCE!!!

Own the game on another platform. Just wanted to say the flooded room event pissed me off. My gf and I were having fun exploring and looting, and then comes this !%@%^ of a puzzle. First of all, we had no idea how to get through the red door to start it, we just knew we drained the water. Then I accidentally got separated from her as the airlock doors came up. We don't like to do things separately while in game because we enjoy sharing the experience, so when she couldn't get through the door, she suggested I quit and rejoin. When I do, we went back to the switch room, watching the water go back up before we press the switch and try again. When we couldn't, I looked it up online and found that you only get one chance.

What pisses me off the most is that there was nothing to indicate we could only do it once and the airlock wasn't clearly marked, it just looked like another door in the world. I shouldn't have to go online and read through guides and wikis just to not miss a unique experience like going through the water event because there was nothing in game that even hinted that you can only try it once.

Yeah...the flooded room is not well designed. The first time I encountered it I figured I just needed to beat the water to the top to get my loot. I didn't even see there were items on the way up.

My next piece of advice won't help you this time but you can use this tool to backup your save whenever you find the event again. If you aren't satisfied with your attempt just reload your save and try again: https://github.com/Razzmatazzz/RemnantSaveGuardian

I also suggest leveling explorer to max if you haven't. The loot radar perk it gets at level 10 is very helpful in figuring out where the items are in that room.

This whole game revolves around replaying all the areas. You will get plenty of other opportunities to do the water puzzle. Just take it as a learning experience for next time. Every area has multiple story lines and different versions of each boss and the dungeons/loot are rng so your gonna be coming back at some point.

You could actually see all the drops as plain as day, from the top and while doing the room.
The point is you need to do it / replay it more than once to get all loot in there if you are solo, or do it once if you play coop.

i mean you do it like 3 times and then you got the speed down to grab everything without a problem, even did it on my hardcore character just for the scrap like 4 times lmao
