i know steam and epic can play cross play, but can pc xbox game pass owners also play with steam players?

Edit 7/12/2023 --> Currently no cross-play between game pass and steam/epic but i read smth in internet about pc game pass players and xbox players can play with each others.

New Edit 30/12/2023 --> As many people stated in other forums (also under this topic), PC game pass users and Steam and Epic users can play with each others. No matter which platform you play on PC, you can play with your friends on other PC platforms as long as you match your Epic account with your Remnant account. (I haven't tested the game pass myself, but since many players have stated that they can do this, I accept it as true) but be careful about game versions. Sometimes there is some version mismatch between platforms.

I'd like to know too, since I have the game on Steam and my friends will play on Game Pass.

I tried and you both can connect epic account and invite each other(my friend linked game pass-epic / I linked steam-epic). But when we accepted our invites there is error like network connection error or smth like that. After that i checked what my friend see when he tried quick match there is few games. I guess atleast for now game pass owners play with other game pass owners. (Maybe we did smth wrong or we have problem)

The devs said I guess in september, they were working on crossplay. The didn't say anything else about it since then.

Hi, i had this issue too. For me, my steam and epic accounts are linked before remnant 2. When i try to link account button not working too. So i unliked my stean account from epic games --> account --> connections. After that button worked and i link my account again.

They said couple of weeks ago in remnant subreddit they are finishing it, so it will be released for sure.

This is usually based on whether or not the developer has specifically enabled Dualsense controls in the game. For Gamepass, if the dev didn't include it, you can't use it.

And I have not found a way to play Gamepass games in Steam Big Picture so that you can use Steam to take care of making sure the Dualsense works. If you figure it out, let me know lol.

I actually cancelled my Gamepass over this, since I use a Dualsense also and any game that would be better w/ a controller is basically a no-go on Gamepass.

I have the gamepass version and the link epic account button doesn't work. My friend is playing on steam and we can't see each other.
So, yeah PC players can not play together. What a bummer.

I'm paying on STEAM, 1 friend in on EPIC and another is on GPASS e none of us can't play with each other, we are very pissed.

you can link your steam account With your epic account and play together … but game pass and epic or steam dosen’t work … sorry for your third guy….
