By DoT i mean either fire, corrosive, overload or bleed. Corrosive usually sticks for longest. See if you have some mods that allow you to damage her without you doing anything. Anything that just stays active indefinitelly, like summons or ground effects. Mods easy to swap and they are as strong as weapon you put them in, unless you use two boss weapons.

i use bleed and fire dots, w/ detonation trigger amu for flamethrower turret and starshot w/ twisting wounds

Had the same at the start, just gotta push through it and the game will grow on you.

Dodge toward the boss when they spin. Just make sure you run to the other side then dodge through them again.
