Either way, you can neutral dodge through all of the attacks. Just need to work that timing and watch out for a ground slam, when Witch retreats.
Every boss can have the affix, Either way, neutral dodge completely negates it. You can also brute force right through it with some builds, or literally melt the witch in 10-15 seconds with other builds. Sometimes you need to adapt to the game and not expec thte game to be adapted to what you are using curerntly.
i had a bomb throwing lady with regenerator. now think of it this way, i empty my mag in her and 5 sec later she has regenerated the damage, but that wasnt the worst part! she actually is also out of reach so i can only shoot her, no melee, no stagger. it was an impossible boss for my starter character
so what i do now is clearing open world areas first till i cant avoid boss fights anymore and try to take less difficult ones first. when i came back to her i just deleted her that time.
Put on Leto's MkII, and wear the Decayed Margin, Dying ember and Soul Link, then put points into Siphoner.
No need to dodge as you'll be at 100% HP throughout the whole fight, even as the boss whales on you.
At least it added more variety of boss fights.
For the boss herself, kinda difficult to neutral dodge her spinning attack. Way easier to just roll past her and run straight, so managing arena space is important especially against Trapper affix.
Fortunately, she can be face tanked with melee build even in Apocalypse.
doesn't make me want to play the DLC coming back tho immediately running into this ho with trapper
the boss herself isnt even that bad, it;s more the trapper affix that makes it aids
Ngl, you'd probably would have figured it out by now. I actually rolled Trapper today and i did have troubles dodging spin attack with neutrals, but it was stamina related. I just swaped my build a bit (1 ring and less weight) and had no issue taking turns. Use any form of AoE on adds, some form of DoT on a Witch for sustained damage, neutral dodge regular attacks and try keep distance against spin attack and use neutrals when she get close. Took me several tries, but i didn't think it was that bad.
"Use any form of AoE on adds, some form of DoT"
I am but it's explosions so neutral dodge makes that hard to dodge on top of the witch, idk i tried swap to aoe shockwave turret and wasnt as good
** "but it was stamina related"
speaking of...she also has Drain, is that stamina or HP?
By DoT i mean either fire, corrosive, overload or bleed. Corrosive usually sticks for longest. See if you have some mods that allow you to damage her without you doing anything. Anything that just stays active indefinitelly, like summons or ground effects. Mods easy to swap and they are as strong as weapon you put them in, unless you use two boss weapons.
Had the same at the start, just gotta push through it and the game will grow on you.
