What is this blue colored orb of light that attached to me, and how do I get rid of it.?
In order to progress through one of the areas I had to pass under this blue floating light.
As soon as I did it attached to me and is somehow harming me but I am not sure how.

Questions: What is it? And how do I get rid of it?

I returned to Ward 13 and looked at what the doctor is selling but I saw nothing that describes this light.
Here are two images to assist you .
THANKS!

its not harming you. as far as i can tell it doesnt even has any effect (or just a minor one). its the lore of that dungon that you are in right now.

This thing is a ghost that you need to bring outside (to the spot with the light from the roof, you will know when you are there cause the ghost leaves you there) and then it will drop an item for you which you can give to the guy that screams at you for another item.

after that you are done with the dungon and thats it

If you'd read though the lore books in the area you would've gotten a few hints: basically, going through the area and walking into the light at the end will dispel this thing, and as long as it's active all enemies will be faster and more aggressive than usual.

Grizzly, you are right that this ghost appears to not be harming me. As I progress through this dungeon I never make it fully to the end because I get overpowered by bosses.

Yal, the enemies are very aggressive and I am continually being overpowered. If I manage to stay alive and near the end of this dungeon I am in a huge open area with a great amount of winged fairies that fly down toward me and completely overpower me. Am currently at power level 15 and am not powerful enough to fight them off.

Your power level is fine for fighting them as at most they'll be lvl 16. Also, that area isn't the end of the dungeon 😉

Ja, everything is scaled to your level + 1.

You know it turns out that is not always the case? I'm doing a hardcore veteran run, and several times I've had the zones appear as my power level + 2.

I'm thinking that there is a minimum zone level set when you first enter the world, which can be overriden if you exceed it. For example, I was level 5 when I entered Lossom, so the initial area was set to level 6. But when I went to the Derelict Lighthouse side dungoen, it was at level 7, even though I hadn't leveled up yet.

It would be interesting for someone to test this out to see how far ahead the zones can scale in relation to your power level. At first, I just thought that the zones were going off the rounded up value of your PL while the character display used the rounded down value, but the way it jumped up in the side dungeon has me thinking it might be some other factor at play.
