FYI: Inspect the key found at the derelict lighthouse

Because i just found out that you actually can inspect the key, which allows you to open the door in the cellar of the lighthouse.
If you dont, and you use it at the door upstairs; well the key is lost.
And so is your chance at obtaining the new shotgun. I found that out the hard way and now i either have to get lucky to join someones game or reroll the dlc.

Its not just the key, there are many items that can be inspected like that for a secondary purpose.

Yeah, thats nothing new, but the key gets lost if you use it on the upper door and you cant get the weapon anymore in this run. If someone would invite me for a fresh lighthouse map, i would be freaking glad

my key bugged out and it didn't get used up, ah well:)

It's essentially a choice so don't feel too bad. You either get the shotgun or the ring. Get the other next time.
