Can't enter online or friends only mode

Title says it all, if I set it to either through the in game menu, it sends me to the title screen to change the setting and update the lobby, but when I load into the game, it's back to offline. All my drivers are up to date, so is windows, and I've restarted the game and my pc multiple times. Any ideas?

They added server regions. You can change it at the bottom in main menu.Perhaps your friends have it set to another region than you.

My region is correct, but it's not friends trying to join me, I simply cant go into any sort of online at all, can't join matches, can't host, nothing. It just keeps setting me to offline no matter what I do, and I need help finishing my apocalypse playthrough so I want to set my game to public.

Nope

Check your firewall exception list other than that can't think of anything else. Might be a new bug introduced with this patch.

That did not work either, this is very frustrating because I want to play the new dlc, but have to erase my apocalypse playthrough when I'm at Venom to do so, and I just can't for the life of me beat him solo
