fsr 3 Frame generation when ?

this game needs it pls . i really stopped playing because of how bad it runs
i7 8086k overclocked 4.8 GHz , 3070 ti over clocked to 10k mem clock, game runs like absolute hot human waste
Update edit : i'd rather have +20ms frame generation delay and double the smoothness than the game dropping to low 30s at some points, it's really frustrating to me when the game drops that low. i am really sensitive to low frame rate its agitating to me, that's just my preference . this is not a pro league game, 20+ ms if there is any at all is manageable .

It's out now in a "preview build" with 7000 series AMD cards, though.

It's a misconception that the game will perform better with frame generation technology. The game can look like it is running better to the eyes but will end up feeling worse than it did without the generated frames. Frame generation actually hurts performance in fast paced and heavily reaction based games.

i've seen some videos , games does run better, frame time is about the same , it will looks less jarring at the very least

The frame time is the fps which is not linked to how the game feels. The frames are artificial and hence your inputs are only being registered on the real frames. So something like 60fps would normally feel fine whereas a frame gen 60fps experience would feel like you're playing whilst drunk.

If you have a RX 7000 series GPU you can install a special beta-driver where it is possible to turn on FG in driver panel for any DX11/12 game

hmm I have 7900xtx and when I enable fsr fps drops. Not just this game all games.

Dont get your hopes up. FSR3 is great and all but so far on the 3 games I own that it released on, its not that great. DLSS is still better. There is an improvement over FSR2 but nothing really major.
Also FSR3 seems to only work when vsync is forced on, else the frame generation wont kick in.

From the video posted online, FSR 3 is sharper compared to DLSS and somewhat on par but the shimmering is still there but reduced significantly, but the Frame Gen is a mess..
