is it possible to obtain the base item for the corrupted weapons again?

i know you can transfer them back, but i'm kinda hoping i can have both, for example corrupted merciless and normal merciless

i dont read discord or reddit but the devs posted about this there:) some people said that it's a bug and we should get the normal versions from brabus.
For now, you only spend simulacrum to turn them back wich is silly or farm them again....wich is silly because of how long it can take

Yeah i was wondering if that bug was fixed.

Buy them from brabus? eh? i dont get why brabus would have any of these items, since they're all found in worlds

using a simulacrum to turn them back isnt ideal, although they aint the hardest to farm, they aint as easy to come by as plenty of the other materials.

i want both items essentially. not just 1 i change back and forth. it'll get expensive trying to compare to the 2 on dummies

I just got the weapons a second time and can confirm you can have both. You have the items but can recreate them?

Thank you. now i'll go out of my way to collect the items again, just didnt want to go through the worlds and be like oh ive wasted my time, as most of the items require a good 30-60 mins to get to the right part of the map / boss

You don't make the regular Rune Pistol at Dwell.
You make it at Nimue's shop in Losomn.
