Can you have both Normal & Corrupted version of guns on one Character?

After the Halloween patch we can buy "Corrupted" version of 5 guns from rune guy. However can anyone confirm once we turned a normal gun into corrupted version, can we still pick up or craft the normal version again in the world?

I tried to get normal version of Aphelion after getting the corrupted version, but the NERUD boss just won't drop the crafting material again, always scrap.

I read somewhere it was a bug.
We are supposed to be able to get again the original weapon but it's not possible for now.

Yes you can, i managed to refarm my Meridian.

I see. Are you also able to get the crafting materials to drop for boss weapons?

Once you have corrupted a weapon, you can obtain the old weapon the exact same way you did it in the first place.

I corrupted merciless, then killed the ravager (feasting on the doe) and got the material for crafting merciless again :)
