Swapping archetypes loose xp progress?
Iv read that if you change your primary archetype it resets to level 0, is that true? I maxed my primary and got my secondary to level 2, Id like to know if I can try other archetypes without loosing levels. Do you loose level progress if you swap your secondary archetype too?(Just to be clear Im not talking about remaking a new character, Im talking about switching the archetype items in your inventory.)

Hi, you don't lose any levels swapping archetypes, all of the xp is stored into the engram you have, and if you change drop it for some time, you can pick up and continue levelling up the archetype where you left off, no resets to level 0 nors 0xp in the current level.
When playing higher difficulties, you'll want to swap archetypes for bosses. You can level two at once while fighting monsters, then switch to a good boss fighting build and switch back again when you're done.

For example, I'm levelling summoner / medic; it's not a great build tbh but whatever, it deals with little squiggly monsters. There's no way it will deal with bosses on Nightmare difficulty, though, so I switch into engineer / hunter.

Just remember to rest after switching to refill your skills.

Not only does it not reset your progress, your total archetype level (the level of *all* your archetypes added up) influences the quality of the relic fragments you get.
