Run a memory stress test, like TM5 or MemTest.
With my 5900x and 3080, crashes. With xmp off, works fine.
I upgraded my pc, in another new rig, with 13900k, 4090 and fresh ddr5 5200 ram. Same ♥♥♥♥, with or without xmp crashes, lol.
Have you ran any memory stress test? Or are you just guessing your ram is properly set.
Yes, I have access to a lot of diffrent type of hardware. I try 4 dram different kits, with my 5900x. And now, with the 13900k, Im taking home today three more different 5200-4800-6000mhz kits to keep testing tonight. Only for testing, because I know the game is broken, is not hardware related.
Have you considered you might have a bad motherboard. Or an issue with bios.
Or XMP setting a bad timing. Or the memory failing to train the memory properly.
You will only find if it's an hardware issue with a stress test.
TestMem5 with the the Anta777 Extreme config is a great place to start.
And y-cruncher for the memory controller and CPU.
Some Intel motheroards are still running in OC mode by default with the single-thread boost power targets applied to all threads.
You can clearly demonstrate a HW issue on one of your config when the game is stable without XMP (i.e. this is not a software issue), so why are you screaming it's a game issue is beyond me.
Also note that memory controller is integrated in the CPU package, meaning it is subject to instability if you push the CPU too far.
Additionally, memory sticks alone aren't the entire memory subsystem, so you have to count that in (as in, only changing DIMM won't really help you test your HW).
So far I am relying on watching the ones which do not play again online. I am grateful people posted these cutscenes on youtube though otherwise I would be missing out on all cut scenes

Few people claim to have fixed their crashes, I guess the developers don't care :-/
If the problem is with a lot of pcs... I build pcs every day, and test the remnant in many of them, and crashes a lot with some systems, mostly high end.
