Cause playing one build gets boring.
Yeah but again, how often does one change build? Not often at all.
Even if you respec like twice a playthrough it would be convenient.
OP's still cringe tho.
I end up not doing it as often as I like solely due to the lack of a loadout feature. Swapping rings and traits is a pain in the ass. But I've heard they're adding loadouts, so that's something to look forward to.
I change loadouts all the time depending on if I'm solo or with a friend and for different bosses and dungeons. Not mention for leveling the archetypes or just experimenting for the hell of it.
Speak for yourself, I change my builds and equipment all the time and so do the other 4 people I play this with. just because you dont need something doesnt mean its not needed.
I play solo and use one build, then my buddies jump on and I drop summoner since pets get in way and grab healer or something I feel like playing that day. Then change my rings because no need for soul link and soul guard with no summons, and then change my traits because no need for the summon related traits and we now could use revivalist and kinship instead. Then they log off and its time to reverse all that. Then they might jump back on a bit later same day.
Loadouts are a huge need in this game for not just that scenario but for people who change equip for boss fights, then put on speed gear for getting around and then switch classes because they like playing something different that day and have to entirely redo traits because of that.
Right now its like playing magic the gathering and only being able to have one deck which needs to be rebuilt every time you want to play a different deck, and you are telling people "why do you need more than one deck?"
