No issues so far.
It has the lowest amount of nonsense from the 3 planets and it hasn't any incredibly stupid puzzles like the other planets have.
it's also pretty nice to see the open areas or the sci fi dungeons, much easier to traverse.
It also has the lowest amount of dialogue and cutscenes.
it's more enjoyable from a gameplay point.
But it might also be the hardest from a new player perspective but there is no frustration
The robots can be annoying but basically every enemy type in that area is easy on range. No one really gets close to you, except the zombies, which are slow. Shoot off the legs when they come close to slow them. The roaches are kinda annoying, cause they love to swarm you, but again.. keep distance, fall back and wipe them out in a natural choke-point, like a doorway or something.
The elite mobs can be tricky. The flying eyeball thing is the most annoying imho, but hit the weakpoint and double roll the laser sweeps.. That one, and the giant cockroach, because it is fast as hell and also loves to swing at you with a huge reach. but it pauses after each attack to give you time to deal damage.
In N`erud you have often catwalks and multiple levels. Use those to your advantage. Mobs will always walk the "official" ways and not jump down onto another platform like you can. I chees elite mobs with making them run some extra miles. ;)
N'Erud imo is the the most difficult as a starting world especially for those not used to game, plus if you got Seekers storyline you are up to one of more difficult world bosses in game. However there are some good loot to pick up and if you are lucky you may get some nice combo that would set you up for early game, for example stamina use give shield, shield give high hp regen, extra dmg and life steal... but you need to get lucky to find all of these in one run.
Another thing as already mentioned is Engineer class, its all about its turrets but its very strong even without any setup, very good for early game but later too if you like that playstyle. Have a look at some guides otherwise you won't find it as it sits in specific tile out in fog on 2nd open area.
I deliberately re-rolled my campaign until I got n'erud, just so I could get the engineer.
It's a very effective character, and loads of fun. Also increases your survivability, since you can deploy your turret, and then concentrate on dodging bosses and other tough enemies. Your turret will be providing the DPS while you concentrate on staying alive. It's how I beat the super tough boss mentioned earlier.
In addition to the mobs described by PRODIGY, one of the most lethal minibosses is literally a ball of flesh. Like a deflated football. When it's charging at you, you need to shoot big metal plates on it's body, usually on the upper right side of it's body as it's charging at you.
You can blast the plates off, stunning it, and exposing a soft chewy center. It takes extra weak point damage when you hit the center.
Dodgeroll into and through it to avoid it. If you try to outrun it, it will literally steamroller you. The thing is covered in arms, and they will start beating on you. It's usually lethal if it backs you into a corner.
I'm glad I got N'erud as my first world because it gave me a lot of stuff I like using.
Oh yeah, and if you get the Seeker's Rest, you have exactly 1 hour to finish up anything you didn't complete before defeating the world boss, because that place is going right back into a black hole just like the Custodian said he would do. Or you have no time if you used the override key, so say goodbye to all that possible loot.
Reroll it if you dislike it. Hopefully by the time you have to do it, you'll be a bit stronger and it won't be too bad.
The other worlds still stay somewhat interesting and fun, but N'Erud, especially once you've collected most of the secrets from that world, becomes a bit of a chore. Because of the massive size of the overland map, the RNG location of the dungeons, all that elevator waiting, and the tendency of so many enemies to keep sneaking and attacking from behind you, or just spawning 360 degrees around you... it can become an annoying world if you just want to blaze through it quickly.
Also, thematically it being the most advanced of the worlds (plus lore stuff I won't spoil), it makes more sense for you to get that place last. If this was a game without such aggressive enemy scaling and RNG world generation, N'Erud would absolutely be one of the last places you'd visit in the story.
But I think you'll probably have plenty of fun on your first 1-2 playthroughs regardless of which order the worlds come in!
