Having trouble finding simulacrum and corrupted lumenite

anyone have any tips? Been playing for over a dozen hours since I found a single drop of either.

Corrupted lumenite is from special minibosses... usually the ones with the red tinge, and special modifiers. Some combos of modifiers can be brutal.

Simulacrum are generally 1 per world, hidden somewhere. And one of the vendors sells one, but they can be expensive. They are deliberately meant to be rare.

I've read here that explorer has a chance to get corrupted lumenite from normal elites. If you're really hurting for that you could go that route.

It helps to know which events have a corrupted or aberrant enemy since they will always drop corrupted lumenite.

There are set locations that will have a simulacrum. In Losomn morrow parish there will be one that will spawn either in the Asylum basement, Asylum third floor balcony, or outside the asylum in the shack where the ripsaw boss spawns (can also get corrupted lumenite).

As mentioned before simulacrum spawns only 1 per world but unlike first game is limited to some specific areas so finding them is easier.
Losomn either in Malefic Palace or Morrow Parish in the Asylum (this one is fastest and easies to get)
N'Erud it will be in 2nd open area often in unnamed tower or near one of vaults.
Yaesha either in The Widow's Court or The Lost Temple (2nd part of The Forbidden Grove) in initially closed area where you arrive after passing through Faithless Thicket.
Also on Appocalypse there is a chance you can get simulacrum after any boss kill... and on Nightmare apparently too but I never got it myself so chances can be low.

you can buy Simulacrum in the town. I find that the best way. Just go adventure mode, grind 1 "new" area and buy one. Its 1500 scrap

Sorry but have you actually played this game? She has only that 1 simulacrum to sale and won't have any more once you bought it.
