Crawlspace in Dormant N'erudian Facility

So I just got the Dormant N'erudian Facility. At the entrance, there is a hole in the floor. Inside, there is a crawlspace that leads to some purple item but it is blocked off. I watched youtube vids in hopes of finding how to get there but all of them were on how to get the traits at the end n such.

Any of you know?

While I appreciate you trying to help, no it is not. That is just how the place is. The hidden area, the route to the control room and a key to the door. Coincidentally, that's the video I watched and commented on that I was looking for the crawlspace thing.

What I'm talking about is... well. What I said. At the entrance of the area (right when you go through the yellow door), there is a small hole in the floor I can jump in and crawl through.

Yes, and the purple item there I believe is what's behind that door that the key opens.

That item is for beating the dormant facility within the time limit, you'll get the item to unlock the door if you do
