Pets still seemingly useless in boss fights
I speak of course of summons. The flyers for the Summoner just sort of sit there, sometimes they remember they can fire at the boss, but most of the time they just sit there. Not even sure where they go during the fights sometimes, inside walls/floors or something.

Best thing you can do is to pass the fog wall without summons, then summon them once inside the room.

My summons work fine most of the time, whether it's a boss fight, dungeoning or roaming in the map.

In few occasions, especially on last boss phase 2, during a swap, they suddenly die ( the lose all their bar instantly without being attacked. Like the old huntress bug).

But apart from that no issues so far.

The ball summons have the best behaviour but they can't do anything against flying bosses (same with the dog).
The flying summons often (not always) are not attacking as much as they should during boss fights. And at least against the Guardian on N'Erud, they don't seem to do anything.
The last summon can not attack flying bosses even though it has a ranged attack (never seen it do anything against the Guardian on N'Erud or the Mother Mind on Yaesha, for examples).

Turret is the best pet (but not sure it attacks on its own with the Guardian too - this boss definitely has an issue).

They can eat a whole hell of a lot of damage for you though. I can shoot something point blank with starshot's nuke and be like *dusts self off* who next...

You can always detonate the flying summons for decent amount of damage. That's actually how I beat the last boss for first time. At low health while I have both flying minions out? Oh its over. Kbooom!

Another tactic I like to use with flying summons is to only keep one out at a time and then detonate before re-summoning. Its good for doing burst damage while constantly triggering the Blood Moon trinket and the Summoner Archetype perk effects.

Summons do not work in some boss fights, dog is 50/50 tho he cannot hurt fliers. Turret is actually good. Can bug out and dissappear but the game treats it like it is active so you are stuck in animation.

The target acquisition time for the flyers and reaver seems broken. They do attack bosses, I've had the reaver through both of his ranged attacks at Venom before (and hit), but it seems like maybe it goes on some sort of cooldown and during the cooldown time nothing else can reach so he sort of idles until that ability is usable again? Then he goes through a brand new acquisition phase and attacks again.

I have wondered if it's intentional so pets don't just do all the work on bosses, but the turret works great, so...dunno
