I'm a veteran of Remnant 1 so I know and also that has no relevance to Remnant 2.
Secondly if it was just for nostalgia then the Radiant set which was also in Remnant 1 and could likewise be used for nostalgia would be just as bad right? Except it is not it actually can be used or spliced with other armor pieces.
The void set and even individual pieces are just bad.
Same goes with the radiant one.
They both provide a nice DR for starters.
I used the elder one cause I love it ( and was my main set in r1 co-op) aesthetically though.
The sets have nothing to do with new or veteran players and no they are not for players that can't properly dodge. Maybe if you ran something other than Hunter/Gunslinger you'd see that. I don't even get the point of a strawman here. There is not much to defend. There is no hostile argument.
I mean I'm not even mad...your replies just seem to sideswipe the topic and go into a weird rambling with light shade thrown. It's not even trollish...just WEIRD.
some find it good for the looks, others for the resists.
Truth be told, you can beat the whole game without even caring what armor you use so this topic is kinda pointless.
Rants apart, it you search in this forum you'll find out several posts of people complaining that they didn't find an armor on their first walkthrough, as well as others complaining they take too much damage.
Reason why the DR given by both Void and Radiant set is excellent for starters.
If the DR provided, as starting armors, is something that doesn't interest you, is perfectly ok though ( as well as if these sets, at some point, become not a good choice, compared to others )
