If you get a quest item from an adventure, and then reroll the adventure, you lose it.
Neither a glitch nor a bug.
For Pulse Rifle you can do this in adventure. Roll Nerud and run to the custodian and check the secret area if its missing 2 pins. If it isnt, reroll and check again.
If its missing 2 pins, keep doing the dungeons to get the pins and thus unlock the pulse rifle
If you are aiming for some tedious item, download the save guardian and deal with it.
might as well not even bother with that pretense and just download a 100 percent save file. My point still stands shame you can take quest stuff into adventure though that would have been interesting.
Not an oversight, just a tedious way to extend the grind. Probably because keeping quest items gives you the chance to bypass stuff you shouldn't be able to otherwise, but it's annoying for the few things that require specific items from different campaigns.
Your best bet is the save analyser tool. At least that way you can tell in advance if a combination is available.
