the game has so many random maps and encounters that in 1 run you propably wont even see half
I wanna unlock summoner so I can start 2th playground with this archetype
Blood moon can spawn in any of the overland maps (not inside underground dungeons). So I just switched areas between the two overland maps for maybe 10-20 times until it spawned. Literally just walked through the golden portal that loads you to the other zone. Once Blood Moon spawns, it won't go away unless you die or touch a world stone. When you're in Blood Moon, those little purple wisps you need to kill spawn in specific tiles or areas of the map. So you need to find the tiles. And unfortunately it's possible that whatever map you're on doesn't have those tiles at all. If this happens, you want to reroll Yaesha on adventure mode and try it there until you get it.
Otherwise the idea is simple: You shoot the wisps to get the Blood Moon Essence, then run into the other area, and back again to where you were. The enemies always respawn when you switch areas, but the Blood Moon stays on. So you just wanna find the shortest route from the golden portal to another area to the little wisps, and run back and forth between them until you have enough essence.
I was able to get everything during a single Blood Moon. But people have said that it goes out on its own in 15-30 minutes. So if it disappears on you, don't be surprised. And when the Blood Moon is gone, it might take an hour or so of real life time before it can spawn again. But apparently switching your PC's clock forward works. People said they just moved the clock forward like 3h and did it again.
Good luck OP!
Generally, campaign seems to be more reliable for it working correctly. If you have something else you can be doing, the easiest thing to do is port to Ward 13, wait 10 mins or so, port to Yaesha (the 2nd large hub zone is usually a good one).
If it's not a blood moon, go back to Ward 13 and do something else for 10 mins or so.
If it's a blood moon, find the largest village close to a side-area gate. The wisps respawn when you zone out and in (unlike normal mobs) and you can easily farm up 4-6 right outside a gate then port out/in in under a minute.
