What games use UE 5? I thought Fortnite was the only one.
What game is that? Jedi Survivor uses UE 4. The Finals isn't out yet
The gaming industry for YEARS has been spoiled with ZERO progress in video games. "My 1060 6gb still plays all the newest games no problem" that didn't used to be a thing. FOR THE LONGEST TIME in video games, you HAD to upgrade your PC to player newer titles, you couldn't use 5-10 year old hardware and expect to play the newest games. And that is FINALLY coming back to reality. Game cannot grow and get better/bigger if they are running on 10 year old hardware.... stop being a cheap !@#$ and upgrade your PC.
7800x3d and 7900xtx with 64gb ram and I can play any new title with zero issues. Even Redfall that people were crying their PC was stuttering and low fps, I played with ZERO issues. No lag, no stutters, and at least 150fps on max settings. If you can't play a UE5 game, your PC isn't up to par, time to upgrade. Can't upgrade, go play an older game, that new game isn't for you.
I remember the days of a high end pc being below min reqs after 3 years. Optimization though can make a big difference. Plenty of games with better graphics than Remnant 1 run better. Gameplay footage of this looks like it has performance issues too.
I've been using Unreal engine 5 and 4 the last 2 years (Well i've been using UE4 for like 10 years) and UE4 is still way better for the fact it's much more reliable. You never want to develop something on an unreliable engine (UE5) because that's just asking for your game to not work properly on launch and getting rage reviews saying how bad the performance/game is. Unreal engine 5 as a developer was clearly made with more cinema in mind like mandalorian rather than games. As a developer that is very obvious with all the changes they've made to the software. So I reiterate. Please do a little research into things before stating the only reason is because people refuse to upgrade there PCs. Gunfire Games is going to know a lot more about you about making choices to change over to a new software.
