Report a translation problem
The description is to double the time for status effects the player produces directly, not as side effects otherwise it would mean it would make the overload from barrels apply 2 times duration.
The only interaction that is not clear is the defrag one because we dont know what it does to the enemy, if it does anything as a status effect.
it also doubles the duration of burn from the fire tornado but not the fire tornado itself for example
As well, that is kinda stupid that it ONLY affects player statuses, should REALLY have that than.
