For me it's worth it, yes, but I have no idea what you are looking for or what you like or what, maybe try the review section and decide for yourself.
When concerning the humans, the writing falls a little flat sometimes. Thankfully, you don't spend too much time running around on Earth and are sent on your adventure to one of three different starting worlds (it's random for each player where you begin).
Best way would be to buy it on steam and if you encounter any game crashes in the 2 hour window; where you can still refund, do so before it is to late. And buy it instead when its fixed or receives discounts.

Please always remember that the 2-week, 2-hour refund rule applies on Steam. Good luck and hope you enjoy the game if you buy it ;-)
I run an AMD 7900 XT. I run many games on 4k above 100 FPS near max settings.
None of the searches you have linked are representative of the current state of the game for the majority of players.
For first 249 hours, game was fine,
-the update processes, depending on connection, can result in diff times for patching, is very annoying.
But since the last 1.3 gb update/patch, my game now has issues with a stuttering/freezing, when the previous 249 hours it was perfectly fine.
running a
RX 6750 XT
7 5700X cpu
temps and everything happy
no OC at all, game running on medium graphics settings, now after latest update, in a boss fight, or mass mobs, i start to get /freeze, now.
As others say, check other threads, tech problems discussion page etc, and judge for your self, see if any of these issue may affect you.
atm i would say hold off, till, we get a fix that makes all happy.
But i will say that beside the Tech issues, it is a nice game, and there is some hours in it, game time wise.
The combat is fun though, better than the original game.
185 hours for $55. There is enough to get you 20 hours at minimum so long as you enjoy big boss fights solely revolving around learning attack patterns.
On the other hand, the game runs better for my wife now lol. In time, I'm pretty confident they will finally get it right.
They've been putting out hotfixes every week so I'm sure we'll get there.
