73 hours in and bored already
Calling this game "dark souls with guns," is offensive. Ppl that call it that prob never really played a dark souls games in begin with. I have hundreds of hours in each dark souls games.

What made those games replayable was that builds were truly unique and different. You don't feel that at all in this game. Pick hunter archetype and apply mark to all enemies. Benefit from hunter perk with weakspot damage increasing ammo drops to 25%. YAWN

All i hear is how much replayability this game has. After a couple playthroughs you've seen it all. I'm on my third, and played my fair share of adventure mode. I've seen 75% in my first run, 20% more on my second, and so far everything is exactly the same on my third. I'm not going to reroll over and over to get a dungoen I may have missed. I already have most of the rings and they don't really add much to builds. Sure you can make some complement some things well, 10% fire damage here, 10% electric damage here. YAWN.

Game is alright overall, but def. overhyped.

Speaking of boring... I can't understand why people download the 100% save files from Nexus, I just don't see a reason playing the game after finding everything.

With all that saying, this game should have had Survival mode which is a blast to play in R1, but knowing these money hungry devs, it's going to be one of the DLC.

So you don't enjoy the gameplay, you just like to find things? That's an interesting take...

Dont take this the wrong way, if your mind is already set and just want say what you think about the game then shouldnt you write a review?

"Survival Mode is an optional Game Mode included with the Swamps of Corsus DLC"

Pretty straightforward to me, expecting it as one of the 3 DLC ( or part of one of the 3 DLC ).

@TS: To me it was the opposite. I played each DS and that's it, while I enjoyed r1 and r2 over multiple runs ( mostly because of the guns + aim + weakspot, rather than dodge + strike over and over ).

So wait, you played one build, hunter, and complain there is no replayability ?
Did you at least try other builds ?

(People who glorify dark souls are impressive...)

Couldn't have been that boring if you got 73 hours out of it.

I mean to each their own, but I've played the entire Dark Souls trilogy and I have no desire to go back with a different "build". They all boil down to "hit boss with fire" or "hit boss with magic" or "hit boss with big sword". Not saying I'm going to put many more hours in Remnant 2 but at least there's a couple world bosses I haven't fought yet, plus each class has a unique gimmick to them that maybe not on bosses but at least will significantly change how you approach worlds.

Also 73 hours is plenty time out of a game man, you don't need to expect 2k out of each purchase you make.
Sounds like people reviewing mmo's and giving it negative review after 3k hours saying there is nothing to do

I'll never understand people who purchase a game and expect an infinite amount of play time.

73 hours for 50€, that's a lot by today's standard.
I have like 140 hours and I'm not done with what I want to do in the game.

Honestly after first playthrough and maxing my archetype... i just run through the map, trying to find the stuff i missed. The combat isn't that great ( considering all the ranged and flying enemies ).

I got all the achivements now but can't be bothered to re-roll the campaign just to get a few missing gear pieces or rings.

A lot of it is way too cryptic compared to the first game and honestly just busy work / waste of time. Better wait for "World Analyzer for Remnant 2" .

I don't think you need to wait for that.

It's a false sense of entitlement, plain and simple.

Not to mention all the "unique builds" hardly exist because every weapon in a specific class has the same exact combo with little variation, sometimes a stab instead of a slash. They're fun games don't get me wrong, but severely overrated by their community.

Severely overrated, like Dark Souls? lol

Dark souls is what I'm referring to, because the community tends to treat souls games like they're gifts from the very gods themselves. I couldn't even get through my new game plus of Elden Ring (not a souls game I know, but very similar in formula). Not saying Remnant is better, but to say Souls is because you can do repeated play throughs because of unique builds is laughable at best. Don't take that to mean that I think they're bad or not enjoyable, because they're very solid, fun games. Just not the best thing since sliced bread.
