Hardcore In Adventure Mode - Lose Character?

If you have a character in Hardcore and then use that character in adventure mode and it dies. Is that character gone? Is adventure mode treated differently for hardcore?

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

As far as i know yeah, if you do adventure, you need to do it perfectly...Or back up your saves before each adventure run, and if you die during it, you can restore the character.
Safest way of farming out items.

Doesn't matter if it's adventure or campaign. Heck, even if you die in Ward 13, it will end your hardcore run.

As others said yea, but you can choose survivor difficulty for adventure and get the gear you want, then return to veteran hc campaign and still unlock the rewards. If you have a solid start then you should be smooth sailing throughout the entire run

Hardcore death is game over, period.
