It would encourage me to work through HC difficulties sequentially.
You are not really risking anything in HC as the character is new and effectively disposable unless you can make it through all 4 difficulties with one character.
I am really disappointed with MP so am looking for ways to keep playing and i want the game to have a long shelf life i feel player numbers are dropping because the game is too closed to the more casual gamer who gets frustrated or bored and moves on.
Thanks for reply
But would be nice if they could fix certain items and events so you can grab certain items (or just make them purchasable) in hardcore... as some basically kill you. Wish they could add what remnant 1 had but use that as a starter currency on a harcore char. Heck might even take a % of the base items/loot from hardcore char death to carry over a new one (but again to apply to a shop to either buy items you cant really get as a work around).
I'm not trying to troll, I'm trying to understand.
Nothing you have to unlock kills you anymore, all the "scripted deaths" were fixed to not kill HC characters. Engineer is able to be obtained without dying, which isn't even an issue since you can just buy the engram now. Your entire second paragraph is completely invalid.
