Is Fords Scattergun bugged?
The scatter gun doesn't seem to be dealing the damage it says it does. My Bulldog has less than half of scatterguns damage, but my Bull hits for for damage per shot. Its weird.

what range? also "per shot" is not good info for shotguns.

Ford's scattergun has been argued to be one of the worst weapons in the game.

Oh, my shots are always point blank. Bulldog can kill most enemies with a single close range weakspot hit. But Fords Scattergun always gets enemies to about 10% hp, and it is annoying as hell

It's the bullet spread.
Bulldog has spread like stickman at middle, quite tight.
Ford Scattergun has wide hexagonal shape.

I think double barrel has the most tight spread. Excluding Coachgun because it use slug.

Invest in "handling" (trait) and equip the point focus ring.

Your using a shotgun that isnt the coachgun, repulsor, or whatever they named the default shotgun to that the previous two outperform in nearly every way possible......theres your issue lol

Jokes aside....shotguns in this game act strange based on listed numbers and damage dealt even if your spread is tighter than a pinhole.....cept the coach gun....but oddly half my shots from other guns can visually miss and still do more total damage than the coach gun once in awhile.....so.....use what works for you i guess.

Ha, appreciated the answers everyone. I assume Ford's was just not a good gun, but wanted to make sure it wasn't a bug or anything. Ill stick with Bulldog whenever I am in close quarters. Best to go with what you know works! Thanks everyone!
