In the labyrinth for the 1st time

I literally have no idea what I should be doing, Im encountering some just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that seems to lock me out of continuing then maybe encountered a boss, that flew to the left and now intense music is playing and nothing is happening, I literally cannot tell if something is glitched out or if I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, this is nothing like I encountered before and is just odd/frustrating

The item (cube?) you got goes in the big glowing pedestal right at the start of the Labyrinth.

I dunno if the Labyrinth is randomized or not, but for me I had to explore and go through some portals. There's one portal that's broke and flickering, if you stand there and watch it, it stabilizes and you can see where the platform is. You need to go through that and do a "boss" fight that's just a bunch of adds and you'll get an item. This is used to power a big portal you'll have found exploring earlier, which will take you to where you need to go.
TL;DR/Non-spoiler: Just explore and use portals.

beat the cube boss puzzle, was meh but i think I'm good now

This is what happens when a game doesn't treat people like idiots. We've been dumbified by the likes of Ubisoft etc.
