How do you join friends?

I'm trying to play coop with a friend but they don't show up in the join game list, joining via steam does nothing and accepting an invite does nothing?

i actually discovered the issue, Running the intel patch of the game prevents playing the game with anybody that isn't an intel card owner

same issue here

Solved the problem. Had to go offline and relog again to reload the friendlist on steam. It bugged kinda out but now it is working

Its extremely fussy. But this is how it worked for me:
Have them on your steam friends list. Make sure they're not set to 'invisible' on steam. Then when they log in have them find your name on the in game friends list, and hit the yellow button to join your game. (Or the reverse if its you going over)

The other button, the invite one, doesn't seem to work properly near as I can tell.
And it sometimes takes a few minutes for the yellow join button to show up on the friends list. Like I said, its fussy.

I'm having the same issue. You said the intel patch of the game, is there a different version or something? Or do you mean the latest patch? Were you ever able to find a solution?

I'm having the same issue. You said the intel patch of the game, is there a different version or something? Or do you mean the latest patch? Were you ever able to find a solution?

Yes there's an intel beta branch of the game to fix issues with the A750, turns out playing that version makes you incompatible with anybody who's not using that card/ build of the game.

Worth it a try, but rather than accepting the invite try to join your own game, press esc, friends, and then click on the golden arrow next to the friend you want to join ( make sure they have a slot in their game ).

Sometimes I could not join friends, but that way worked it out ( even so, I am not sure it wasn't some sort of rng/luck ).

No luck unfortunately. A golden arrow never appears. Randoms can join either of our games, but we're never able to join each other.
