Does this game have anti-cheat?

Just curious before a purchase.

I have no friends so I would need to rely on online matchmaking.
its this have protected characters or will it be a borderlands situation where you might as well not bother playing online?

no, none whatsoever

cheats only work if the host is using them, at least from what i can tell. if youre in someones game you might see values change but nothing actually happens.so if youre worried about cheaters, just host and it shouldnt be a problem.........




although they can modify their trait points and level really fast so they might be a little stronger than the average player, but not by much

Not that we know of. It would nice to see one added as no one likes a cheater. This game is meant to be difficult and supposed to make you think, cheats simply take that out of the game.

Remnant 1 didn't have anti-cheat, and as it's a single player/coop game, it's not necessary to add one in. It can only ruin their own enjoyment of the game, for the most part.
