It's an absolute joke, and there's 50+ convos on this discussion with people defending it like "yeah that sounds about right" "that's the expected experience with that card"

So much dumbness in one place I feel like I'm getting dumber.

The game runs like poo, like if you expected to pour a glass of water, and poo just started clogging the water pitcher, and you were like hold on what's going on? I just wanted water? Why am I getting poo?

THAT IS THE CORE EXPERIENCE OF BUYING AND OWNING REMNANT 2, THE DEVS SHOULD BE SHUNNED FOR THIS CRAP.

Here's my spec, a realistic no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance:
Ryzen 5 3600
AMD Radeon 5700
16GB DDR4 RAM
Running on SSD
1080p
FSR on Ultra Performance

I AM RUNNING THE GAME AT EVERYTHING LOW FFS
For some reason all open areas I am stuck at like between 40-60+ fps. Combat makes it dip more frequently.
Some indoor areas im at 60-80 fps.
There was a boss fight at Ne'Run (the scifi area) and my fps for that fight is an abysmal 20fps.

Currently no AMD drivers available, yet. But if a driver update fixes this I will be amazed af.
I also put some hope on day 1 patch since devs say they are patching very soon.

Anyways, nice game but fix this ♥♥♥♥ asap.

Lock at 60 fps, try dialing back one setting at a time and see what works best. I get a steady 60 fps and no stutters, but I'm also playing on 7900xtx on an ultrawide monitor.

Drop shadows to low, biggest performance hit. Next is draw distance, which... honestly in this game isn't that big of a deal. Medium is perfectly fine as far as I can tell.

RSR works better than the built-in upscalers, so use RSR.

What is there to lower the graphics if everything is on low already???

No they won’t.
Read devs post above.
They are saying they will start working on perfomance only after game drops on 25th( perfomance patch probably won’t come soon)
And don’t expect a miracle
People getting 50 fps on 4080 in this game
Do you really think that can be fixed with a patch?
This game needs MAJor perfomance patches, literally months of work.
They won’t bother doing this
Why would they try to fix the game if little goofballs going to buy/play anyway?

On the fence if I want buy this or not... I'm using more or less borderline "playable" setup.
Ryzen 5 5600G, 16GB RAM and RTX 3060Ti.

If this runs worse than Cyberpunk etc. which looks far better than this game does.. good luck with that, devs.

Admitting that you made game upscaling in mind, is just saying "we didnt bother to optimize for PC cuz DLSS etc. exist".

I saw this video yesterday that gave me like 15-20 more fps by just adjusting a stupid setting, go to AppData\Local\Remnant2\Saved\Config\Windows and open GameUserSettings, then change bUseDynamicResolution to "True" and that's pretty much it, it worked pretty well for me with a GTX 1650 Super, im running it at 50-60fps even with a few settings on ultra, hope it works for you guys as well!
