Plasma Cutter/Navigator Helmet room bugged

Nothing found inside after farming for the helmet, am I SOL or can I join another instance with the Plasma Cutter in there

I was wondering that aswell and finally got it basically 10 min ago : You dont farm that helm, the special zombie that drops this only spawns when there is the piston event in your world. 2 or 3 huge pistons hammering the ground (youll hear it from far away). The ground cracked under one and reveals a underground cavern.
To reach it youll have to crouch and move asap when the piston readies itself for the next smash and quickly slip into the hole.
Now you are in a flooded underground area, but beware since this place is home to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of zombies, after putting them to rest the navigator zombie can be found close by.
Kill him and presto.

Oh I think I worded it wrongly, I got the helmet joining other players helping their adventure and got it through there, went back to my world and unlocked the room but it was bugged out, there wasn't anything inside :(

If you dont get the cutter the first time,set up an adventure. You can get another copy of the room and it might have the cutter, at least it did for me.
