cheaters?

in remnant 1 if you joined random co-op, your character could be permanently bricked due to cheaters the instant you join a game, is this the case with remnant 2 as well?

there is no anti cheat system in 2. and i would say its possible to brick a save, because its possible in nearly every game with a p2p coop system, without playing always-online on servers. but you have a backup save system, from which you can restore your save.

so the real question is: how frequently you will encounter this. and for that i dont have a answer, because its random :P

Just put it to friends only and you won't have to worry about cheaters.

remnant 1 had that really simple save manager to keep backups just because of cheaters... guess that's what we'll be doing again

sure you can do it all manually but that's a hassle

Unless your friend are cheating too...

If your friends want to use cheats and don't consult you to know if you are okay with whatever they are using while you are hosting, then get better friends.
I don't tend to use cheats a lot, but sometimes I do just for the power trip. But I never go online with that ♥♥♥♥ and ruin anybody's experiences. Even less when it comes to friends.
