The only thing i am worried is mod support. Probably some sort of endgame mode will come, as we had one in first game
And parts of the maps has frame drops to the 20-30s for even a 4090.
PC doesn't have fast enough I/O, your 7000MB/S nvme doesn't mean the CPU to cache is blazing fast low latency like the custom PS5 board.
Remnant 2 does not use Windows Direct Drive.
So the Xbox Version performs horribly.
Frame generation plus frame drops due to high latency and slow response time = very delayed image to input.
PC can run it good, you just need higher end hardware and know how to turn things down 1 notch lower than you are normally used to on NON UE5 games.
Yeah the game can run like doodoo if you try to run it at Native 100% maxed I agree with everyone on that point, but I was able to get it "Buttery Smooth" 82fps Locked at 1440p Native on Everything HIGH but Shadows to Medium. It runs 80fps pegged 99% of the time for my "optimal settings". I don't even need to use upscale.
5800X3D, 6900XT oc to 6950xt performance, 32Gb ram, 7000mbps+ nvme.
RTX 3080 FE
32 GB RAM
i5 12600KF
Installed on NVME
I guess when you have an environment that is so dead and foggy like N'erud, it's pointless to use any graphics.
1.25 FOV and low graphical settings, the camera zooms out enough where you can't care about some details at ultrawide 1440p.
