The death scream.

I would give anything to be able to turn that scream off. It's so annoying. On top of being killed, I have to listen to a suspiciously alive-sounding man give no less than his five best screams right in my ear, every time I die. It's incredibly unnecessary and grating.

I tried turning the voice down to zero and no, the screams are so potent they apparently no longer count as speech. There's literally no way to escape this short of muting the entire game.

Most of the voice sounds/lines are VERY annoying. Also, don't even sound consistent. My guy sounds either like a redneck or a gay black man depending on the line.

Literal torture. It's better to take off your headphones every time you die than having to listen to this!

Yeah it's awful, hope they give us the option to change it or turn it off

It HAS to be a bug, right? Considering the first game had regular death screams, I can only hope either a patch or an update happens soon

Agreed. An option to turn off ALL player voice while leaving NPC voices at normal would be a top tier update.

I can barely stand the start of fight/end of fight announcements but I do like to hear NPC voices so I begrudgingly leave it on.

I want an option to disable player quips so my character stops acting like fighting three minions half her level was the most difficult thing in the multiverse.

I didn't notice the death scream being an issue, now the final level ambient sounds, holy hell I had to turn sound effects almost completely off.
