PSA - Tower of the unseen can permanently mess up

If you've done the Tower of the Unseen, you know that you can remove the Solar Cells from the doors and plug them into other doors to open them and progress through the dungeon. However, one of the secrets is to use a solar cell on a node behind the big statue in the boss room to access a secret door. But, if you do that without progressing far enough in the dungeon, and you drop down from the ledge without removing the aforementioned solar cell from the statue, you permanently lock yourself out of the rest of the Tower, unable to progress, as there's no way to open the doors that have locked behind you.

I used a godmode hack from wemod to bypass this exact issue. Happened to me last night.

no it doesn't, there is another spare node at the top of an elevator. you must take this elevator from the back of the boss cavern (or i guess front if you did the drop down first), NOT the one that unlocks the door to the front. but point been you are not locked out.

There is no way to reach a spare node in my playthrough. all the doors are red because we used the only possibly reachable node on the secret behind the boss statue. And, we can't recover the that because there's no way to get to the hole to drop down to it again.

there's a lift in that room that takes you back to the respawn stone, you're not locked out

if you fall from the front there is a killbox that will kill you with fall damage but I gotta imagine you could bypass it by dropping from the back... that sucks

I'm trying to figure out how to get to the secret node that is behind the boss's statue! You can't climb up to it, nor is there a way to drop to it

I used my second cell on the statue (couldn't figure out a way to remove the first one I moved and not lock myself) and I was able to make it back up using the now-unlocked elevators. I did open every door (the ones that open by touching them) I could before dropping down though. Also you can probably find the place again in adventure later.

There's a way to drop to it, a hole in the ceiling. The hole is underneath an elevator. Send the elevator up and then fall into the hole where it was.

Pretty sure it was locked by a one-way door.

I've also got stuck on this. Luckily my character hit this zone first but I'm still going to have to re-roll and start from scratch.

If you go in with friends, you can high five emote-clip your way through the door because the game is super well designed. :) This is how I got past being stuck w/o modding.

I guess it depends on the generated tiles, i did this and had no issues to get back up.

Same issue here, we used the power cell in the upper floor and then fell and now we can't access the power cells anymore so we are stuck.
