Ward 13 garden dirt?

Anybody find what we're supposed to use with that interactable dirt patch?

Found something called a thaen seed which I seem to be able to plant, nothing else so far.

Yes the Thaen seed is the only one I know of as well. Though you can give it to the queen instead.

You need to find ornate chest and ornate key, open the chest and you will get a seed. You find both, the key and the chest at Widows court at Yaesha.

I ended up giving the chest and key to the queen. Looks like the options are: give both unopened; give seed; plant seed; ???; profit.

I has the chest but the dead npc that has the key and note isn't there....

Anyone else find it kinda funny you can just plant the literal tree of life at the ward in a random garden patch. A tree likely to grow so big to shroud the whole city.

That's a problem for future generations. But... like... "city" is a stretch. Everyone's living in shipping containers. They can be moved.
