Empaty bosses

We got rolled Empaty and Regenerator on Mother Mind boss. For our luck it's unskipable. Someone beat bosses with same mutators? How did you make it?

Medic skill, and the heal bomb weapon mod ignores empathy when my group got it.

Yep, any healing skill outside of using your relic doesn't trigger empathy. Also the handler's pet reviving someone with a dragonheart does not count either for some reason, but that just seems like an oversight.

Bleed effect also nerfs healing of enemies which does include bosses. So if someone grabs a bleed weapon you're half way there.

I agree on both medic skill and healing bombs, as well as bleeding, though if you have a medic on your party, they can use relics with no big issue ( the boss won't recovery that much heal, as it's 1 relic every 15/20 sec).

Tranquil Heart is extremely useful against empathy bosses, since it passively heals. I'd def recommend getting it, although the process is a pain in the ass. Also inflicting bleeding halves healing which can help, but not all bosses bleed.

Status based HP regen build. Medic is a bonus.

get someone with the 'Healing sharing' ring that gives your group 50% of all self healing (which includes self regen but not self lifesteal) and everyone stack passive regen. have one person stack high DoT critical/weakspot (Zania's malice, Nightfall or Plasma Cutter, other +crit or +weakspot rings/amulets)

Healer build focuses on clearing adds, DPS focuses on melting boss. with atleast 60% DR on the DPS you'll out heal the damage the boss can do, unless you get wombo combo'd by either trash mobs or the falling root blight AoE balls

I've done like 2-3 Empathy bosses and I've never seen them fully heal when i used the relic. I don't think they've even healed a little. Using the black hole heart.

I always run Bleeding mod on most content so regenerator never really been issue to me. I have more issues when it comes to elemental resistance or thick skin... :/
