seriously. pugging can be a nightmare when you don't have either. It's confusing why they didn't bother with text chat even.... is it because they felt VC was potentially toxic and wanted to only make one version of the game instead of changing things for pc vs console? so weird

no it didnt. it had emotes. there was no voice chat or txt chat. (unless you are referring to something like discrod.

But why do you need voice or text therse days majority of people already have a co op group they run with and then they use Discord. Its been ages since I used in game chat or anything like that. Only exceptions were hell let lost and fox hole, but those are completely different games where voice is extremely important. Plus in game vc does not really do well anyway.
