Right? But since you don't actually "summon" the dog it's somewhat ambigious. Since I can't see the dogs health there's not really a way to test it.

In the context of "most" games a thing that straight up exists is usually a minion, while a *press button*/*get kill*/*do thing* to make thing appear is usually classed as a summon so I without what Rinny said I would assume this game works the same and consider the dog a minion till I aquire a method to test it like Rinny did.
Yep, this is correct. The dog gives a stack of Bulwark, he's considered a summon as well.
Doesn't really matter how it was tested, the answer is yes.
