I turned off my recording software & didn't think to turn it back on before closing out the game so sadly i only got the screen shots that i show in the vid.
But yeah it feels oh so nice to lose a hardcore character to a bug & makes me not want to play due to not knowing where all the bug spots are at.

Bump. There is another place as well. Triggers death cutscene that kills hc characters. Should have seen in QA tbh

so does that means the video is showing a softcore character triggering the one-shot death event? and your hc character died to this event and forgot to record it?

Did you choose hardcore for your first playthrough? Setting aside bugs, it definitely feels like there are just too many death mechanics that you won't know until they happen to you the first time to make hardcore viable for a first playthrough.

It was the same character, on hardcore just different armors because i played for an hr or two after getting snatched by that monkey,Which i should of also built it's item because i'm 40% sure it was another class item but i was like meh it should be fine.

Yeah i'm only doing hard core due to the extra rewards you can get like in the first game,what are the rewards? oh no idea & i don't mind dying because this game is meant to hold me over until bg3 comes out buuuuut that does not mean i'm happy with losing a character to some random bs bug

The devs should get on this ASAP and aside from fixing the issues: 1. Resurrect dead HC characters that have been demonstrably killed by glitches and 2. Give a complementary cosmetic to resurrected HC characters that shows they´ve returned from the beyond

Lol yeah i agree you with on both points but i'm biased

I assume the day 1 patch will knock out most of the remaining bugs, Overall this game is pretty polished outside it lagging for no reason & that hc character killing bug

Those are not death sequences. You're transported to another part of the map for an encounter. This time against one of those gorillas living in london. There are others in the game like when you come across a certain stasis pod.

Yeah it's not supposed to be a death sequence but when the game bugs out & refuses to let you close the game,Sadly i only took screen shots before i logged off & wrote off my character still laying down after killing the monkey as a minor bugged & kept playing for another hr or 2,then noticing the bug was still there even when giving my character new armor(royal fae armor) i was like meh,turned off my recording software,headed back to ward 13 to log out & then i noticed what i shown in the screenshots in the vid.

That stasis pod, is mandatory or is it optional?
Have you touched it while on a hc character?

This is definitely a bug -
Once you're grabbed your Character screen turns out like this:

You end up with 'Enemies nearby' and cannot quit the game without ALT+F4ing, which kills your character instantly.

Yup that's what i was talking about, thank you for showing that. Saves me time by not going back there & recreating it.
